Description

Legendary mill maker, Wolfgang Mock, has done it again with the Mockmill 100 grain mill, ushering in a new generation of innovative grain mills that raise the bar for performance and value.

Wolfgang’s Mockmill 100 represents the sum of nearly 40 years of experience and innovation and squarely achieves his goal of making fresh, healthy, high quality and great tasting whole grain flour accessible to as many people as possible.

The Mockmill’s uniquely designed grinding stones produce extraordinarily fine flour, well suited for making everything from world class artisan breads to flaky croissants. Enjoy light pancakes, waffles, tarts, pie crusts, brioche, challah, tender flatbreads and more without sacrificing the health benefits packed into natures nutrient powerhouse that is the whole grain wheat kernel.

The Mockmill 100 will grind from extremely fine flour to coarse cracked grain and will handle all wheat grains and non oily grains, medium sized beans, corn and non oily spices.

Housing the the Mockmill 100 is an Arboblend® shell also known as liquid wood made from 98% natural plant-based fibers. This eco friendly material takes natural raw materials out of the waste stream and combines them with biopolymers that results in an attractive, durable yet low cost casing. By concentrating the costs of building a quality mill into the components that matter most, the mill stones and motor, Wolfgang has succeeded in keeping the price of the German made Mockmill 100 at an amazingly attractive level.

Mockmill FAQ

Q: What’s the difference between the Mockmill 100 and 200 and other mills, especially the Komo Classic mill?
A: The most significant difference is that both the Mockmill 100 and 200 mill considerably finer flour than the Classic (or any other mill under $750 for that matter). The difference is quite significant. Fine flour can be achieved without having to sift out the nutritious bran. The only other real differences are the obvious ones like housing, styling, price and length of warranty.

Q: How do the Mockmills compare to the Komo Classic in milling speed?
A: The Komo Classic mills a bit more flour per minute than the 200 and so is quite a bit faster than the 100.

Q: Does the 200 heat up the flour more than the 100 while milling?
A: One would think so since the motor is bigger, but the stones on the 200 have a couple of design differences from the stones on the 100. The stones on the 200 are designed to work on a more powerful motor without heating the flour more.

Q: Which size mill should I get?
A: Kind of a hard one to answer. For the one or two loaves a week I typically bake, I find the 100 is perfectly adequate. If you’re milling a lot more than that or just want a faster mill, the 200 is a nice option.

Shipping & Returns

We process and ship orders M-F and excepting major holidays, most orders are processed and shipped the same day or the next business day as received. A few of our products are drop shipped from other locations and delivery times for those vary. If your order is time critical, please check with us before ordering to inquire about delivery times. Phone: 1-800-469-7989 (within US) or 1-641-999-1225 or Email us

Occasionally, an out of stock product will be shipped some time after the initial order. This information will be noted on the product page.

Free Shipping Over $75

The majority of our products qualify for free shipping if the order will be delivered within the contiguous 48 US states and the single order total is over $75. Some products (such as grains and flours) do not qualify. Products that do not qualify for free shipping will not have the green Free Shipping truck (pictured below) on their respective product pages.

We determine the specific carrier and service for free shipping orders at the time of shipping depending on the weight, size, and destination for the order. We estimate a delivery range of 4-8 business days. In some cases it may be less, but only in rare cases should it be more.

If you place an order that is over $75 that includes some items that qualify for free shipping and some items that do not, you are only charged a shipping fee for the products that do not qualify for free shipping.

Calculating Shipping Charges

Shipping charges can be calculated prior to checkout without first having to enter any personal or financial information. Just click on the “View Cart” button and fill-in your country, state, and postal code in the shipping calculator.

The shipping rates you see in our shipping calculator are the exact rates we receive from the carrier. We have negotiated rates with some of our carriers and we pass those savings directly on to you.

International Orders

We are currently limiting sales to the USA and Canada. For standard shipping, you will have a choice of using the US Postal Service or UPS. You are responsible for paying whatever import duties, customs, or taxes that may be assessed by your country.

Returns and Damage Claims

Most products in new condition can be returned to Breadtopia for refund or exchange for a period of 30 days after purchase. “New condition” means the product has not been used, contaminated, or damaged and the original packaging and manufacturer’s label (if applicable) is intact – in other words, it must be in re-sellable condition such that you’d be fine with receiving it as-is on a new order you placed. We do not accept returns for consumable products and customizable products.

You are responsible for return shipping charges and shipping charges paid at the time of checkout will be excluded from the refund. If your order originally qualified for free shipping, our actual cost of shipping the order to you will be deducted from your refund.

Please include your name and order number with the return and ship to:

Breadtopia
400 N. 2nd St.
Fairfield, IA 52556

If you paid by credit or debit card, upon receipt and inspection of all the returned products, we will attempt to refund to the same card. If we are unable to process a refund to your original payment method (for example, if your credit or debit card has been closed, or if you paid by check), we will issue you a store credit or a refund by check at your choice.

Some items, due to their high weights, are shipped to you directly from the manufacturer to keep costs down. These include the Fibrament baking stones, some grain mills and electric dough mixers. If returned, these items are usually shipped back to the manufacturer and separate return policies (and sometimes restocking fees) may apply. Please check with us for the specific return policy for these items.

If a product we ship is received by you in damaged condition, reporting of damage must occur within 30 days of receipt of your order.
